Ahhh...just thought I'd get it started.  Looks like a Soggy Mountain Breakdown kinda day right now- first SBK practice was in the rain.  Supersport Qual 1 times are faster, so it may be drying.

I am a huge Sykes Fan Boy this season (started last season...).  But it's somewhat about the Kawi really.  Would just like to see this marque get the gold this year.  And have Sykes wear the Chief's helmet at last round!   Cool

It's gonna be a big challenge with the Beemers basically dialed in and competitive and - of course -the RSV4.  Seems like the RSV4 is kinda where the Duck has been in WSBK during many seasons.  It's the bike to have given the current rules.

Till Checa fully regains his health (still not there, right?) I'm not pulling the fire alarm on the Panigale.  Bandovini still a bit uneven and young, time will tell.

Where the FACK can I find WSBK on my damn TV?  Can we get it from BEINsport online other than if we stream it live?

AFAIK

No, and No.

But I could be wrong.

Usual suspects at the top...

Sykes...Laverty...Guintoli.

No Checa this weekend. Declared unfit to race.

Sitting in the "Peachbottom Inn" hotel in Southern PA, cockroach marching up the wall, and watching WSBK on BeIN Sports (streaming).  Monza is sooooo fast.  Edwards/Haga/Bayliss flashbacks while I watch Sykes/Melandri/Laverty/Guintoli mix it up in an absolutely royal race 1.  Gawd these guys hang it out here!

And thanks for the spoiler coaching.  We're so sorry, Uncle Albert  Wink

Okay you weanies...guess I'm talking to myself here.  FANTASTIC racing this morning in Race 2 WSBK after the Red Flag Fest of WSS and a great SSK race.   Go Sykes!!!  I've decided I hate the Aprilia RSV4s.  Just because.

Bad luck for trying way too hard Chaz Davies.  That's all I'll say for now....

Fantastic races!  bow down bow down Edge of my seat the whole time! They really need to let Ducati lose the restrictor plates.

WSS...WTF, that was just crazy...didn't get to see the last restart (#4).

World Superstock was friggin' awesome too...the crash at the beginning was nuts!

...and no hatin' on the RSV4s...they're awesome bikes!  Grin

edit: can't believe Sykes gets 3rd in race 2. I'm a Sykes fan, but he blew the chicane because of the pass into 3rd...so should have lost the position. Seems anyone now can bomb a corner, blow it and cut the corner, yet retain position as long as they were in front before they ran off. Lame. Fabrizio should have been penalized as well for riding outside the white lines on re-entry.

yes on missing the 4th start of the WSSport....that was an insane crashfest...I would have liked to have seen Sam Lowes do whatever is it that he did in the last restart.

on the Sykes/Guinters thing....even if Sykes had ( for the sake of argument ) raised his hand and let Guinters by...looking at how Guinters REALLY fell back on the last half of that lap...he was done and Sykes would have passed him back with zero issue....the amount of gap that opened up between them was very telling in that regard....and I think that will be factored in the appeal judgement that is pending.

Sykes still should have given him the position IMO, and been forced to pass him again.
