Several years ago I swapped the APTC clutch in my 620 for a non-APTC standard wet clutch. (ebay purchase, I think from an 800) I believe it may be time for a new clutch pack.

Are all of the non-APTC wet clutch packs the same size?

My info says all '98 and later small-case non-APTC clutch packs are the same.

Thanks. I've been checking some of our site-sponsor's sites and haven't found much. Anyone have a suggestion?

Honestly, I've had bad luck with Barnett plates.
I fitted a set to an APTC, and they dragged like a mofo, finding neutral at a stop was totally impossible.
That was a while ago, so perhaps their current product is better.

Go with OEM.

interesting . . . I purchased to sell a set for one of the other M620 2005 locally and the guy has had no issues . . . he ate this OEM in about 15 000 kilometres[less than 10 000miles] . . . it happens when the bike is your first bike . . .

Sounds like their current stuff is improved.

I'm just a bit chapped as I've essentially paid out of my own pocket for an OEM stack that I don't have, and what I *do* have is useless.

But, correct me, you CAN install a non-aptc in an APTC bike and vice-versa . . .

I had bad luck with Barnett springs. The ID was a little off and on the small side which caused the flat end of 3 of the springs to break off and go into the crankcase. 3 oil changes in a row there was a new piece. Got a set f OEM springs ad never had trouble again.

You CANNOT simply swap the clutch pack, they are entirely different. You CAN swap the entire clutch assembly (basket/pressure plate/etc). I, and a few other board members, did not like the APTC or the price for a new APTC clutch pack, and decided to swap to a non-APTC clutch assembly.

Now I just need a small-case non-APTC clutch pack.

Thanks for the links and the comments.
