Front fender options
«
on:
July 03, 2008, 06:37:14 PM »
I've got the DP front diversion fender on my S2R, but I'm looking for something that will protect the sliders of my new (to me) forks.
I know some other fenders from other bikes will fit. I'm pretty much looking for new ideas, and confirmation of fit.
Pics would be cool too!
Thanks in advance.

the OEM fender from the 916-998 will fit.
the DP SBK carbon piece will as well.
I've seen another SBK-style fender that had these mesh screens in 'em... spidey's bike has it... that one looks pretty sweet, too, but I don't recall the mfr of it.

CF Front Fender: 1098/848
Hey Moto,
That's what I wanted, but I was unsure if it would fit. Does it have the aluminum inserts?

Aluminum inserts? On the fender?
Why would it need aluminum inserts?

Oh I know what you mean...
The front fender is mounted onto a plastic ring- so there is really no need to mold in aluminum tabs there.
