Hey guys, found a 2012 Monster EVO with 2,300 miles on craigslist and ended up getting it for $8200. I immediately ordered the Comp Werkes exhaust and fender eliminator.  I love it! I sold my 2011 Street Triple and this thing is exactly what I was missing on the Triumph. I'm ordering the 14t sprocket and taking off the California emissions next.  Any other mods i'm missing?

There 'might' be more, yes, but take your time and do them step by step.

How much time you got?

Where abouts are you located - guessing one of the other 49 states. But that's a big area. We've got a bunch of regional sub sections, might be something close by to you

I'm in Tampa, FL for the time being. It's way different than the Carolinas where I grew up, you get some pretty funny looks around here for wearing a jacket and helmet when you're riding. I'll take the funny looks because i'll be a lot more likely to get up after going down than the guys wearing a bathing suit and flip flops on their japanese bikes.

I'm going to try to meet up with the Euro Cycles guys at the local bike night and see what kind of mod ideas I can drum up.  I can't leave anything alone.

Welcome aboard  waytogo

So what is it that you're getting from your M1100 that you weren't getting from the Street Triple?   <<  Not a smart-arse question, I'm genuinely curious.

Regarding any other mods.... how much $$$ you got??... coz mods... they'll take all you got  Wink

I really liked the Street Triple but I feel like the riding position was the same as a dirt bike, it sounded like the jap bikes, and with the exception of the twin headlights it looked like them too. I like my Duc's riding position, the sound, the torque, the single sided swing arm, and the pride I feel when I'm talking to a biker and say I have a Ducati.

As far as mods, I'd spend another thousand on mods, I really just want to set it apart from stock.
