The source article is inaccurate - the surgeon didn't 'accidentally' sever the penis.... he got angry, and very deliberately severed it. He then cut it into pieces... and walked out of the operating theater.

the "accidentally" probably comes from the court settlement, or it could just be that the story source had multiple versions..

the Romanian press isn't known for it's accuracy.
