I did and then I pulled it back off after about 2 weeks.  Love the look, hated the sound and it created a backfire issue and engine response issue around 4K. Going back to these pipes considerably decreased backfire and eliminated the engine acceleration and cruising issue around 4K.

I do love the make the beast with two backs out of these cans but do wish they were shorter.

Guess riding season is over for a bit.  ......

Broken right front stud bolt and new vertical head gasket needed. Hardest part is finding the make the beast with two backsing head gasket.  Seems this thing is impossible to locate....

What happened with your bike?  Blew a head gasket?  You haven't had the best luck lately...

Apparently, stud bolts can go and when it did the head gasket went as well. <$100.00 for parts which isn't bad by Ducati standards. Ducati Minn. and AMS Ducati had the parts I needed and are en route, so she be good as gold by Thursday but the weather is getting colder quickly. Highs int he upper 50's for next week.

Good news is, with the head off, we can do some other things like lighten the flywheel, find some titanium rods if I can, etc....

I'm pretty biased towards your current color of choice... so I will refrain from commenting on the idea of switching
