I'm a m/c mechanic in Kona, Hawaii.  I'm overhauling a '97 monster 900 for a friend right now, my first in depth ducati experience.  What a cool bike!!  I think I need one.  Anyway, I'm powder coating the frame, repainting everything, new carbs, vave adj., belts, etc.  Any advice would be appreciated since I work exclusively on Harleys (did I say that out loud?).
