Talk about a bad day.  Ive been trying to think of something to say that would help you feel better.  The best I can say is look back at what our Monster community has done to help each other.  Everyone is not bad.

Sorry to hear this (especially as I'll be in Alberta next week).

I was once attacked on my bicycle in downtown Palo Alto, broad daylight (case of road rage).  People just stood around watching and didn't do anything. >:(

Cripes, man. I want to say "Hey, at least it can't get any worse," but that'd seriously be tempting fate. Sorry you had a terrible week, but I'm glad you're mostly okay.

Try to think of the people in your life who do make you happy. Your island in a sea of jackassery.

By the way, what would the Canadian equivalent of Arizona Bay be? Any good riding there? ;)

SKOM, SKOM, SKOM.....

sorry to hear about that shite. I don't really know what else to say, but that shit should not happen.

Now, when are you coming to God's Country. It's soon right? You need to pack your bags and get out!

That crap does happen here also, but not nearly as often.

I don't know much about where you are moving to, in God's Country, I only know they throw the bodies into vats of acid and seal them in bank vaults.

Sorry, that shouldn't worry you anyway.  [thumbsup]

Canada or Mexico neither appears to be a place to be alone.

Get well and glad you're OK.

F the Canucks or anybody who won't stop.

I've stopped for more than my fair share of wrecks and breakdowns with the hope that Karma will be with me and just plain ole humanity for Gods sake.

There will always be people who are too self absorbed to stop and lend a kind word, I hope they get stranded in a didtch and nobody goes by for three days!

Watch out folks.

They'll be moving south of the border soon enough.   :-\

That is awful,  Hope you get better soon.   Some people just suck ass.   Three to one is just being pussies.   My wishes are with you.

People who do shit like this in the US, for the most part, can't carry either.  So where does that argument get you?

If a couple of these bastards got shot, they might think twice before doing some dumb shit.

Careful, guys. There's a political board where you can hash this out like adults. Or children, whichever suits you.

How you healing up SKOM?

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Damn VS !   [cheeky]

So................Were these guys trying to steal something?  You guys trash-talking eachother beforehand?  No previous contact?  You make it sound like they just jumped you for no reason.  What's the rest of the story?  It usually doesn't happen that way.  Especially in Canada.

All that cop-style interrogation aside.......Hope you recover quickly.

I've been one of those guys that just stands around/drives past before. A while back I made a commitment to never be that guy again. After a couple times of being embarrassed with myself, I decided it's just better to get involved.

Sorry buddy. Well done on getting through it all!   [beer]

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The same thing went through my head when I read the OP.

I can't say I've ever been in one situation or the other.

I'd like to think that if it came to it I'd fight the good fight, but I can't say one way or the other right now.

That's still one of my favorite movies, tho.

I hope I wasn't misleading. I'm not much of a fighter! I haven't been really tested yet. I saw a dude being very loud and intimidating to a girlfriend (in tears) on a side street, and I went and stood over them both and told him he was way out of line, and asked the girl if she wanted help. She didn't. I have a feeling they both liked the drama.  [roll] I was bigger than him and I knew I could out-yell and out-intimidate him, so it wasn't a particularly dangerous scenario for me.

There's a crazy-looking guy that walks all around the area I used to live. He doesn't talk to anyone, he's just a man on a mission, carrying a big sack of goodness-knows what on his back, speed-walking everywhere. Everyone's seen him around. One day I was parked on the main road waiting to meet someone, and I notice mission-man walking up in my rear-view. He just tensed up and keeled over into the street, obviously having a seizure of some kind, and people just drove around him.  >:( Incredible. Once I was out of the car and at his side, people started helping out and offering to call an ambulance. He came around after a minute, didn't say anything, and was keen to get back on his mission, but was a bit shaken up. A parking warden drove past, and they obviously knew each other, so mission-man was comfortable getting in his car to go to the hospital.  [thumbsup] I was just shocked at those first few that drove around a guy lying in the street.  [roll]

Fights though, that'd be a test. I'm a pretty good peacock, puffing myself up to be intimidating and I can yell like a drill sergeant. Never thrown a punch though. Hope I don't find myself in that one.
