It truly sucks.

I'm getting a bit weary of my friends dying.

It's a hazard of age. :-\

I'm there too.

RIP Rat, you will be missed.

This hurts. I'd had this fantasy of knocking on his door in North Carolina, unannounced, and thanking him for making me laugh so often and long. And for making me stop and think even more often than that.

The world lost a good one. Wish I could have met him. He is now on my top ten historical figures I'd like to get drunk with list. Ahead of Buddha but behind Hunter S Thompson.

Rest in Peace Rat.

I never really had any interaction with RAT but loved reading his posts. One of those people I looked forward to hopefully meeting someday.  He will truly be missed.

As sad as I am to hear of his departure, I smile a little because I  dIid get to know a little bit about him through his ever so well placed words.

We are so saddened by this news. I always looked for his post or words, even when I was just looking and not posting. I am sorry for our loss and send our love and condolences to his family and friends.   :(
