I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I never met Gerry of course.  But I did make a connection there.... Had a meeting of minds, in which my small grasp of this language fenced with his enormously amusing wit, eloquence and boundless vocabulary.

That is to say... I fenced with Gerry.  He merely toyed with me  [laugh].

He helped me when I needed a favour delivered - and then tried refusing repayment for the procurement and delivery of that favour...  the one debate I ever won with him.

Though our connections through here are mostly remote ones, I regarded RAT900 as a true DMF mate nonetheless.

Rest in piece, brother. You earned it.

This one just takes the wind right out of my sails....

I needed to meet him and it didn't happen.
I feel so sad for Najee dog who's likely wondering when he'll walk back in the door...

I couldn't really explain to a friend why I needed to take a raincheck from getting together tonight...  How do you explain that you're grieving for someone you never met?

I've been lucky enough to meet a bunch of people from the forum. I consider them all friends.

You don't need to meet some people to be friends.

I never met Gerry either, but he was as much a friend as all the people I have met.
