Air filter adaptor problems ?????

I have been trying for 2 years to fit pod filters to my S4 ,,,, have bought various 90dg adaptors off ebay and dealers , to fit pods to the injectors of the S4,,, NONE of them FIT , either wrong mountings or size ,, wasted some money ,,,still using the original box which is now held togeter with tie wraps as it disintegrates

anyone KNOW for sure exactly what i need to do this as ,,,, no Ducati dealer i have dealt with in UK or USA has any idea what i should order ??

why dont you just buy the pod filter with velocity adapters from tpo if you want it that badly?

i'd say the reason you can't find them is that because, apart from the tpo stuff, they don't exist.

I used some muffler inlet stubs for an 888 job I did, but they screwed thru the airbox under the trumpet and a k&n mounted to them.  just get someone to machine you some.

or cut your losses and buy the tpo.

i looked at TPO product but unless i misunderstand their website  it seems they only do Airfilter kits for injection models 620,695,750,900,1000ie but not S4 or S4r??? i emailed the 3 times and never had a reply either ,,,,which is a worry ??also seems a lot of guys have had issues with TPO customer service

price aint an issue ,,,

they have a tricky website, but if u can get rough dimensions. And if u know what the length and shape does for your motor, you might be able to find your size.

Problem is they have to match ducati clips / screw mounts to the injectors , cannot use clamps that would be too easy

Thanks brad i looked at your photos and see what the idea is I can make some clamps thet go around the base  of the standard S4 trumpets  and then fit a K&N over them .I will experiment

TPO got back to me , they dont make a kit for 4v models only big trumpets that use standard air box,

I have also found an unused S4 airbox in a local spares shop cheap so i have that as an option too .
