I've recently become involved with a guy writing a book and trying to get some funding for it. He will publish regardless, but some help will make it easier.

It's a book about fathers of disability... he can explain it better than I.  http://blog.dadsofdisability.com

I've offered some thoughts and may end up with a piece in the book. Whether I do or not I think this is a perspective on the subject that might interest people.

You can help here... http://kck.st/16jJoTT

"Once you accept that a child on the autistic spectrum experiences the world in
a completely different way than you, you will be open to understand how that
 perspective
is even more amazing than yours."
To realize the value of nine  months:
Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.
"Don't piss off old people The older we get, the less 'Life in Prison' is a deterrent."

Sounds like a great project, and donation sent.  [thumbsup]

As I am finding out (some days more than others  [laugh]), raising a healthy child can be a challenge. I can only imagine the additional challenge if the child has a disability.

Look here people. If a broke ass, bankrupt divorcee like me can give $$ then so can you.

Give Give now.

Skip the fancy coffee drink for a few days. There is $20.00 right there.

Skip drinks out one night. Be honest, right there is a good $20 to $30 bucks.

A local restaurant near me has shirts that say :Eat Like You Give A Damn".

I say give like you give a damn. If we don't, who else will?

Give $50. The cause is worth it.

C'mon, peeps.

Collectively, we've done great things on this board for others in need.

Let's do it again.
