^^^+1^^^ As long as it makes
you
happy!
That being said it does have that bug eye look to me. Then again the only aftermarket light setup I have seen that I like at all is StormTroopers. Hell I love the stock headlight. I even like the two tone color as it ties into my engine cases nicely.
Never call it done, I am learning that the hard way.

Yep, bling out your bike however ya see fit I say! It wasn't an easy choice because I do like the big round headlight, and it really is a Monster trademark. But no biggie cuz it's going on my 750SS cafe racer.
That's another way I justify all the stuff I buy...I'm a frame, swingarm and some farkles away from building an extra Ducati.

I'm looking at the same LED headlight (off ebay from GB right?). I'd like to find an OEM wiring connector I can solder on to it as used on the stock bucket so I can swap between the stock headlight bucket and this instead of splicing up my stock wiring harness. Anyone know where to find these connectors outside of buying a busted headlight bucket on ebay? Also any issue with the difference in electrical impedance? LED typically draws less current did you need to add any resistors?
The only other concern I had was the "not E-Marked" warning shown below. I know this aint Europe but is there any issue with this light not being DOT certified? Am I at risk of blinding oncoming traffic?
***ALSO, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT E-MARKED AND ARE SOLD 'FOR SHOW USE ONLY'***

I've personally never been hassled over non-DOT approved equipment on my bike. Cops generally know jack sht about it one way or another. Mine has a nice bright low beam that doesn't blind anyone, took care to set it up that way with a friend in a car helping out. The high beam is another story but I don't use that when facing traffic.

Regardless of DOT or E-marking there's another potential issue. Since this headlight assembly is sold in the UK you ought bear in mind that for their local market the low beam
should
aim to the left not the right as would be appropriate for your other-side-of-the-road driving. On the other hand "for show use only" could mean it's not set up for anybody's left or right side driving.

It points straight...I've never noticed one that didn't. Pretty sure its made in China.

That you haven't noticed doesn't make it not so
.
Go take a look at an OEM headlight assembly. Few of them that I have ever seen point "straight", low beam is aimed towards the near-side (to the RHS for USA/Europe, to the LHS for UK/Aus/Japan) so as to reduce glare for oncoming traffic. Different lenses depending on LHD/RHD market destinations.
Those who import US vehicles into Australia have to fit correctly directional headlights in order to meet local compliance. And I'm not just talking about the physical direction towards which light is manually orientated, the lens itself is "focused" towards whichever is the appropriate side.

Yeah I wasn't claiming they weren't...just that I hadn't noticed.
. Thanks for the links, now I will take a second look out of curiosity.
