2011 passenger pegs on 2009 monster?

Has anyone tried fitting the 2012/2013 passenger pegs on a 2009? 
I like the underseat exhaust of the 2009, but I hate the "chicken wing" passenger peg!

not sure the passenger pegs will work, can't remember if the subframe is tapped for them

the rider pegs should be an easy swap

Thats what im curios about. Are the new passneger pegs simply fitted by tapping into the existing dubframe.. or did they reinforce it somehow. If its just a tap, should be easy to do the same and swap in teh new pegs on older subframe.

or just look on ebay and swap out your subframe

I looked at the same when I was at the dealer on the new and old models. If I recollect correctly... The newer models had it mounted into the 2 extra holes in the sub frame, which I believe are the ones meant for the passenger grab bars.. And I'm not sure if it curved out enough to clear the cans.. The new monsters have the single side dual can setup.. I would take close measurements before purchase.

And NO, the 1100evo passenger pegs are NOT compatible with non-1100evo models.  The evo has specific mounting points in the subframe for the passenger pegs that the other new gen monsters don't have.  So unless you can track down an 1100evo subframe along with those pegs...
