Apparently.  The artist rendering looked like some Sport Classic parts were used and the engine was the air cooled 796, but the prototype that has been snapped looked completely different and liquid cooled, though it was such a mess that much of the bike was probably only for test purposes.

FTR, that yellow photochop is hideous.

They should just contact Stu, pay him a design fee and call it done. waytogo

That second pic has parts from various Ducatis.
916 rear wheel, SC front wheel, 999 DSS.
The frame is a new style.
Air cooled cylinders on an 820 hyper bottom (cable operated clutch).
 Huh?

well it looks like a few details are set, hopefully, not that ugly headlight.

single front disc
spokes
double sided swingarm looks like the 899 but would likely dit on the 696???
nice fat seat for passenger but no grab handle?
bars are really high but with little sweep, awkward arm position?

why go retro ugly on the mirror but go modern with the light? designer must be drunk
