I highly doubt that that pic is anywhere near accurate... doesn't make sense from a business perspective to reference the HYM as a design ethos for that line of bike.
I'm guessing that the spy shot headlight we've seen are just there to throw off the public. That's a drop in replacement camouflage because almost everything else on a bike cant be hidden without fairings.

I think it's funny how everyone always hates the newest Duc, yet somehow they become an acquired taste. Then there are some that I just hate more as time goes on, like the Diavel.

Face it, Ducatis' are the ugliest bikes on the planet! That is why no one ever buys any of them! And they get uglier as time passes, that is why they always get cheaper on the used bike market! Those bevel heads are cheap as nuts!!

Ride one. And only the carbons look good. The base models plastics look like shit.

Up to now, the Diavel has really been the only bike that's not been nice to look at IMHO. Maybe the 999 was not the prettiest bike ever, but it does truly grow on you. This Scrambler seems to be leaning towards the Diavel in terms of looks.

It is the Ducaudi version of the Buell Blast.

Really? Well wherever I go both the Diavel and my Paso(another Ducati model some called ugly) generate as much "oh wow" interest as my M900 which most consider to be a nicely modded monster. You cannot judge the Diavel by the taillights you saw pass you, wait till one comes to a stop sign or redlight and look at the whole bike.
