I've been wanting to get the R1 on Summit Main for a while, so I'm heading back to the track at the end of September. I'm planning to do Shenny on Sunday, too. Probably hit the karts Sunday night to celebrate my 40th.

Q3s are in the mail. We'll see how the new rubber does.

Quicker (10%) Turing throttle tube is on the way as well. The exaggerated flex I needed to put on for WFO was getting old.

Well i did take them for a quick shakedown and errand run. Ca't really say anything at this point since it was just Arlington overland roads.

You guys going out Saturday to camp or arrive Sunday? I'll be coming out Sunday.

I'm heading up Saturday evening. I think Brett is, too. We'll probably be in the back, against the wall. Drive towards "right field".

Starting to think about logistics... we're going to move to Main on Sunday night, so karts might be iffy.

Also - Anyone can ride Shenny, at street pace, during lunch. You need helmet, gloves, jacket and boots. But you're not required to have track pants. It's a cool opportunity to check it out without any commitment.

And great weather too! I would have gone if I didn't have something else planned. If anyone's interested I want to do a day at Summit main in October.
