I agree with this...but...

Be aware the bike needs a major service...belts and valve adjust.

It also needs new tires.

You need to add ~$1200 to the cost.

How do you feel about that bike now?

The seller informed that the bike will be serviced on Tuesday. We'll see what happens. Hopefully valves and belts will be changed.

He should get a checklist with all the service items that were performed that should be kept by the owner (him then you) as part of the records showing that proper maintenance has been performed at the recommended intervals by a certified Ducati mechanic.

Absolutely. I already informed the seller that I want documentation of what is going to be done. I already have PDFs of the previous service.
