Saw him and his band in Melbourne (Festival Hall) when they visited Oz, his brother Jimmie Vaughan and the Fabulous Thunderbirds were the support act.
They played this together for us ....

^This! Lots of great ones out there and lots of great ones sadly gone. But he's one of my all time favs. He and his bro' Jimmy are local Oak Cliff boys. Spent a whole lot of time seeing him for cheap in the 70s when I lived in Austin. Good to know he got his act clean and his career was flying before he left us. Damn choppers! >:(
