Thanks for the heads up since we usually meet at Pojoaque.  [thumbsup]
See you at CAD at 9 and plan to ride with L'Scott up North.  [Dolph]

That sounds lke a better plan given the weather, Larry. I'll see what I can do about joining you there.

Your tire should be fine, Jeff, either way.

Was great riding the High Road with you L'Scott  [Dolph]
Got home at 6 P.M. since there was a head on collision before I got to Penasco.
I waited 10 minutes and since there was no traffic moving in either direction, I turned
around and headed home via the canyon.
The bonus was that I got to do the twisty part of the High Road twice ;D [clap]
I'm a little tuckered out after 320 miles but the ride and the weather made up for it  :D

Wish I could have been there... Was all suited up and ready to go, started the bike and it revved to 3K instantly. I think the high idle control is stuck all the way on (fuel injection speak for choke all the way on).

When the bike revved my helmet fell off and broke one side of the shield off.

Wasn't meant to be.

Next time.

Sorry, that sucks! Or you may get lucky with a deal on a new helmet and visor!  [thumbsup]

Glad few of you got to put worthy miles to Taos and back!
Ride forever...

Axel

I don't need a new helmet, just a visor latch mechanism.

Dropping a helmet without a melon in it from 2-1/2 ft doesn't do any damage (nothing to compress the foam). When you hear otherwise, they're just trying to sell you a helmet.
