There is no turning back from the electronics. We will eventually see all bikes on the same software, forcing the engineers to go back to innovating frame and engine design instead of making a bike that can practically ride itself. MotoGP should have banned seamless transmissions from the get go.
the problem is this....DORNA/FIM make a rule or a set of rules and the engineers are then paid to find out how to circumvent it in either the most extreme or the most obscure way even if they know they are violating the spirit under which said rule was written...they view it as a challenge in the "how to get around it game"....
