Why pay $300 when you can pay $186? I'm all for supporting vendors and all, but man...

The extra $ is for the adaptor ring. Worth it, or can it be obtained for much less? I dunno...

Its prob the same kinda deal as their "Corse Dynamics" bottom mount headlight package. In that case you're getting a $50 aftermarket Harley light and paying $$$ for the billet bracket.  Undecided

I got the MW LED kit after getting the ballasts and everything from the RetroFitSource to modify my stock light.
For the MW kit, I used the foam packing that came with my Shorai battery to limit the amount of bouncing around. Worked perfectly.

I can now ride at night without fear of not being seen and it adds a different take as well with regular beam being the upper part of the light and full high beam being the entire circle.

Here's a pic with the MW light -

They gave you instructions with yours?! I just got a nice metal ring with a copy of the invoice.

Of course, I've made no attempt to use it yet, so I haven't bothered calling them to find instructions (but maybe I should before they stop selling adapters). Not sure duct tape would be the best mounting technique.  Grin

The adapter ring did not come with instructions, but Motowheels does post them on their website.

Pretty sure the adapter ring isn't included in that $299 price tag. They have a note at the bottom of the page saying you have to buy it separate. Unless I'm reading this wrong.
