stupid happened
That's what I was going to say until I watched it, then I was thinking is had something to do with being both Stupid and French.

That's a great example of going from hero to zero in a few seconds.  Stupid Happens.

Hmm. i guess i didnt know you can power wheelie a motogp bike even when your already at 120mph. I thought he was trying to show of and clutch wheelie. I was hoping there was more to it. But i guess not.  popcorn

it was a production-based superbike, not a motogp bike.

iirc, he said he was a gear lower than the thought when he started to pull it up.

It looks like he stood up and bent over to look between his legs. Was he checking/taunting the riders behind him? Whatever it was, that move costed him.

Actually, we reviewed this video in the Cornerspeed school on Monday.  Aaron Stevenson presented it as a tool to demonstrate what happens when you get your ego in the way of riding.

This guy pulled into the lead.  He was so excited about being in the lead, he decided to show off.  The worst part about it was that he didn't even complete one lap out of a 24 HOUR RACE.  He pulled into the lead on the first lap and threw it all away.  Needless to say, he got fired.
