Great  ;D

Went to Reno in, I think, 2002. There's no sound lik a Merlin / Griffon passing by, not even any Duc .....

Still, even with that speed .... it's easy to understand why strafing heavily defended enemy airfields during WW2 was considered near-suicidal unless surprise factor worked.
Monster 900-2002 (sold, alive and well in the UK), 749R / 1100 HYM combo for track days, wifes / my Monster Dark 800-2003 (not entirely "Dark" anymore and a personal favourite) , 50% of 900SSie -2000 track bike for rainy days-now with tuned ST2 motor and Microtec ECU. Also parked due to having been T-boned on track.

This is a great story, and he's a great story teller. "We bad"

Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Best story for sure, one of his many. [thumbsup]

I can't wait to hit his gallery next week.

Gotta take care of the gopher problem somehow! [evil]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Not sure where that was filmed, but my experience with Alaskan Bush/Seaplane pilots is that they're not right in the head.

Speeddog

How hard could that be?

He only used a wee bit more than half of the runway.
