make the beast with two backsing tipped over in the garage!

So this is entirely my fault. I had a small piece of wood under the kickstand sop the bike did not lean as much as it should. I bumped it with my leg and over it went. Luckily it fell on a foam pad and did not damage anything of significance, tiny mark on tank cover, tiny mark on bar end.......... EXCEPT, the rear brake lever bolt ripped out of the mount. Now I am looking at heli-coils Time-Serts for a repair or a set of rear sets.
I have always wanted a bit more legroom on the beast. Any thoughts on which set of rear sets to buy? Rizoma, Ducabike all look good. I want leg room if I have to replace a set of pegs though!
Thoughts ideas?
Kinda funny as I was just fantasizing about having DP custom up a set of carbon fiber body work.........
Had to add: Dear Ducati, I know and understand that you are Italian and do not live life according to the rules of others. However in the future don't ya think you could take a minute to design a lever that will fold before stripping out a peg set? Please....... I mean really, I have tipped over a dozen bikes. Not one destroyed the mount for the rear brake....

From what I have seen all of the after market rearsets move the pegs up and back to varying degrees, not down.

same thing happened to me a couple of weeks back when I lent my bike to a friend. I actually ended up just ordering the part, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. 127 plus 5 bucks for a new pin that got bent. but yea, i agree it is a pretty ridiculous design...

Why was it sitting on a block of wood?

Congratulations on getting new rearsets!
I've heard passenger accommodations are difficult to find for new Monster rearsets...dunno if that's important to you or not.
I'm also curious why you've tipped over so many bikes...I don't think I'll be parking mine near you now, haha

I have owned over 30 bikes over 32 years. I have had more than a few lay down in their natural state
This one just sucked though as it was preventable. I have a big hairy dumb ass mark I am going to live with for a minute.... If I don't like the Rizomas I get my cash back no biggie. Maybe I should have bought the stock part but man it was fragile!

Sorry bro. 18 bikes, 34 years, 0 knock overs. I don't drink, maybe that's the issue.

I am likely exaggerating. I have accidentally tipped three bikes over the years. One due to a rock I stood on and lost balance at a stop light, One I tossed into an intersection when a hottie asked for my number and this...... I have tossed a few down the road/track playing. This was a stupid one. I knew better to have it in the hanger without being on the rear stand. One of my crew almost bashed me with a balloon dolly and when I moved out of the way I knocked it over ) : No alcohol involved. I don't mix flying or bikes with beverage......

Crashing out doesn't count. That's part of doing business. Knocking a bike over in the garage being careless is what I'm talking about. I've never put a street bike down. Dirt bikes lots, that part of dirt biking.

Well this being my first official garage tip over I still have mud on my face over it. My only excuse was being tired and not being pro-avtive with the damn stand. We get up real early in this gig and by the time we get back to the shop everyones brains are drained. It was a dumb move. The upside is I now have a nice set of Rizoma rear sets coming
Any excuse to buy an upgrade.

I'm gonna go knock mine over now. I'd like to replace the exhaust.
