How can something like this be nice?
It's larger than an aircraft carrier

What did he said?
Things I would do on that bike:
1. Remove large OEM mirrors.
2. Add bar-end mirrors.
3. Change controls to clip-ons.
4. Ride it!!

Mass centralization is what makes those things work so well. If you can't get past the look, you miss out!

I think they did a fantastic job designing it. Great mix of old and new. The tail light looks great, the monoshock looks great (and probably works great). Really cool "new school" bike.

I really dig it. With clip-ons it would be gorgeous. But $14K is BS, too much for me.

I wish they would bring the R1200S back, only lighter weight. Regardless of what you think of the flat twin, it makes a very nice back road tool. Very much like the 2 valve Ducati motor!

Ducati need to take note and make a Monster Classic, full trellis frame, classic style, modelled on the original, round headlight, dual sided swingarm, pipes each side, air/oil cooled 1100/1200 motor, Ohlins all round, all the good Brembos and electronics without it looking like it.
BMW are to be commended for having a go in this direction.
However, the 1993 900 Monster was a game changer.
Did someone say cough, Teutonic rip off, cough, cough?

Yep that's hot. Needs nothing but 1 LH bar end mirror and it's done. Mmm.

If I had the scratch, I'd have a hard time turning this one down.

I like it, but I like the Griso a lot better.
My thoughts exactly.
