That's what it looked like to me too.  Did a big body move and all of a sudden something just wasn't there when he expected it to be. More like he threw himself off instead of slipping though. Probably just pissed at himself. I would be too. cheeky

Thank you for saying that, it looked the same way to me and I thought I was crazy. He is saying it was a braking problem though:

I know right, but I swear that's what it looked like!

he just did it very well.  rewatch it, you can see him decide to bail. 

never in a million years is one of these guys going to slip off a peg or something to the extent that they actually fall off, at least in a straight line and while not in contact with anything/anyone else.

Crutchlow said that he, Rossi and Espargaro all had brake issues.

Those three are also the heaviest riders on the grid, at a track that they allow 340mm discs at because the track is so braking-intensive.
