Maybe a shorty?
«

So I do like my Termis but I am contemplating going with the Shift-Tech GP2 carbon fiber slip on. Really love the way it looks/sounds and opens up the back wheel. I would keep my Race ECU and filter. I know most of you probably think I am crazy for considering this but I like to switch things up. I don't even know what i should ask for just the pipes without ECU and filter. Any ideas? I thought i saw a post on here (termis for sale w/o filter and ecu) but could not find it when i searched.

^^ +1 One short can will not make that soul stirring deep sound that the Termi's will. Gonna sound like a SV 650 with that pipe.

No but I've heard the sound and seen the quality of Spark on an 1100 EVO and as you guys say "it's awesome"...

Dexter, just buy the one that you instinctively like and ignore other people's opinions re appearance, etc. Your opinion is the only one that counts.
I run the CW can and am quite pleased with it. That is my bike in most of the Monster pics for CW cans. The original owner installed it, but I had already made my mind up to go that route before bike shopping.
From personal experience with under seat exhausts, I would not have one again. Not only does it add weight above the CG, it can be warmer in city riding in the Summer. But if that is the style
you
like, by all means go for it.

I agree, I am not swayed, I am still sticking with one of my original choices.
Does anyone own the CW pipe in Cobra black or black velvet? Those are the two i am deciding on now. The stock pics dont do the colors much justice if they aren't on the bike.

Just in case you haven't already seen these. Not many Monsters in the lot, but it does give you something to go refer to.

Just a thought, don't know if you ever plan on rearsets but if you do it looks like that GP can clamps to the stock heel guard in the pictures. As I have learned the hard way, not all accessories work together.....

I did notice that as well. I am going to stay stock on rear sets.
Spike, I think it was Nick's bike on here thst had that. I liked that one, just not as much as the shift tech & CW.

Dexter, if you go with a GP style don't worry about the mount. Very easy to fab one to attach to the rear set at the MC fastener locations. In fact, so easy even a golfer could do it.
