Looks like 107hp@10,120 RPM at 414lbs wet. Formidable at ~$8k!

Yeah, I believe it replaced the FZ8 in their lineup, no?

A buddy of mine who just got into motorcycling for the first time chose to buy one of the last brand-new FZ8's over waiting for this 9 because he discovered that they made the seat height something like 1.5" shorter or something like that. So, for his 6'4" frame, that was a big deal.

Looks like a pretty sweet 3 cyclinder -- and more low-end torque than the FZ8.

For ~8K that *almost* makes me want to consider straying away from the duc...

From this angle it reminds me of the '80's Nighthawk.
But I like it.

Is there a reputable magazine test anywhere to verify that 414# wet claim?

The next SV?

I wonder how long it will take to see if you can fit a R6 front end on this bike... new middleweight triples class to compete with the lightweight twins would be awesome.

The SV650 is long gone. It was replaced by the Gladius a few years ago.
