To the OP, this probably does not help...I had two bikes before my divorce, the number went up to 9 while single and is now at 11 after being re-married (but separated). Would probably be even more if I didn't get re-married.

The boyfriend (2001cromo) and I have 5.  He has a Monster and a GSX-R 750 (track), I have a Monster, SV-650 (street & track) and ZX-6R (track).  4 bicycles between us ( he sold some of his road bikes)  as well as a car, SUV and cargo van (we use for track- camping).

I'll have just enough if I get my slightly used 1198sp - one that's been sitting in someones garage for a year with less than 3000 miles on it.  bow down

Sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than permission.

That said, I always check with her out of courtesy and she's always said she would "NEVER" say no.

Sometimes I text her a pic of a bike saying that I just bought it, just to test. She's never reacted badly.

One of these days it won't be a test and we'll see for sure...  laughingdp

Ha ha, guess I need to revise my answer to this thread...now four again.

I did however text her before hand and get "clearance". But it was spur of the moment (less than 24 hours from discovery to purchase) and I never even had time to talk to her face-to-face (or hell even literally "talk" to her even on the phone) about it. Cheesy

I have three at the moment, Hyper 1100S, 748 2V SBK (project) and a KTM 450 EXC supermoto, hunting for a BMW F800GS or possibly even a KLR though, also I'd pick up the right Honda CB twin if I find one cheap.

Looks ok on the surface but the engine needs a tune (maybe more), all wiring needs to be redone, bars HAVE TO GO, needs a new seat, new spokes, and I need to choose another color scheme. But overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Bike looks great.  Much better then my '71 CB500 when I got it
Guys on the SOHC forum would shit a brick hearing you are going to change all that.
They are pretty adamant about never altering their beloved bikes.
