It's been two months now.  Is it running yet?  [Dolph] Pics?

It is going back together now.  New cases, new crank, cylinders bored + pistons, Lakeland ignition upgrade.  The engine is together and in the frame, cylinders and clutch on.  Carbs rebuilt but not on.  New fork seals - new tires - just put the chain on last night.  I am having the cylinder bolts replated and the heads bead blasted now, they should be ready Friday.  Title came back with the wrong year, painter still has bodywork but it is close :)
Busted (plus burned) piston - broke cases

OOooo a gt550. Current cafe racer project for me is a GT250. Hard work but slowly getting somewhere.

Love the old 'zooks, and I especially love the triples. They're just getting hard to find in Aus and < 300cc is better for me for registration costs.

Your bike is looking good.  My 1st bike was a '69 Rebel.  I think the 350s were identical to the 250s (year for year) except for cylinders/pistons/carbs.  I remember the X6 Hustler - It was (as far as I remember) the first of the 'monster' 2 strokes.  One of the fastest bikes of the day.

Yep, the T250/T350s are just a set of barrels etc away, same with my RD250LC race bike. Anyway it'll make a good commuter to keep kays off the Monster in our summer down here in Aus :).
