IMO....  most who inhabit this place no longer bother with the other board.  I'm sure you'll pretty quickly work out for yourself which of 'em suits you best.

I find this place a very helpful community.

IMO this one is more "techie" to use your word… seems like a half dozen dudes who have "seen it all" that lurk around here, along with a nice variety of others from beginners through experienced.

The other board, again IMO, seems like a crowd more keen to just pay someone to do the work for them, rather than DIY. Maybe I'm wrong.

Biggest plus for me, no advertisements intertwined into content here.

I think that a lot of people here were forever banned from the other place.

I know I was. cheeky

For me, the forum is made by the people.  I'm not saying the other forum doesn't have good people, but the BEST people are here.

I will never visit the "Other Board" because, well even their "Lifetime Members" get nuked.

You have been banned for the following reason:
Spamming the Board

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

I was a member on the old board before everyone migrated over here... This place feels like home.  Sure, sometimes there is infighting and pregnant doging, but there is a great group of guys (and gals) here.
