Good deal on these Ohlins forks or no?

So I've decided to do a complete tear down and rebuild of my Monster and I'm looking to upgrade my front suspension while I'm at it. I have a chance to buy these forks, just wondering if they're worth the price and trouble involved to fit them? the calipers should mount right up, not sure what is involved with modifying my IMA triples...
"Ohlins forks from a low-mile, not-crashed 2001 Aprilia RSV Mille R street bike. Excellent condition -- no scuffs, scratches, dents, dings, leaks, or imperfections. 65mm axial caliper spacing. A fantastic upgrade for non-Ohlins equipped Aprilias. Will fit most Ducatis with minor triple clamp modifications."
$750

Most likely shimming one triple and boring out the other.

They look different than the 53mm top 53mm bottom forks used on the ducati SBKs, I know some of the latter duc ohlins went to 53mm, 56mm so it is possible they are that. I would ask the seller to measure the 2 clamping areas so you can have an idea of what it will take to install on your monster. Depending on length it may be hard to install under the bars with out spacing them up, if you do not have clip ons allready. Looks like you will have to change out the front fender, not a huge deal but if I remember you recently purchased a DP aluminium front fender that will likely not be compadaple with out modifications.

My SBK build thread might have answers to quite a few of your questions. (I never finished updating it...sorry, ill finish it up this winter)
http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=58777.0
$750 is a lot cheaper than I paid for my Ohlins, plus I had them resprung and revalved before putting them on. (geometry is very different from the Mille to the Monster, spring rates, and damping all need to change)
I wouldnt bore out a set of IMA triples, i would buy the right ones and sell yours.
Yes the later SBK are 53/56, yours look the same. but you still have radial brakes there (not bad, just makes calipers one more thing you dont have to buy...but if your going to spend the money, i would go to Axial...)
Also keep in mind, youve got work to do with the axle and most likely the brake rotor offset and spacing. Its not a small upgrade by anymeans. if i had to do it again, i would go with M1100 forks. you might be better off with S4Rs ohlins... that being said...i dont know what you have for a bike to start with...

Hadn't thought of that, great point. S4RS Ohlins are pretty common in the $1000 range, would make way more sense to hold out. But for this bike Ohlins are prob overkill anyway, so might wait on a pair of adjustable Showas from a Supersport and put the extra $$ into Racetech internals. Thanks for the replies.
