Hey all, I'm looking to upgrade my mirrors and levers. I'm curious to know what others like or hate. My 800 S2R is basically stock, except fpr the pipes, and I'd like to put different levers on that have a better adjustment mechanism and look more interesting than the OEM units. Mirrors, well something a bit racier than the standard chooky ones that get slapped on at the factory. I should add that the standard gear works just fine, it just looks a bit 'ordinary' if you get my drift. BTW don't wanna spend a huge amount of money either Grin.

I have the Rizoma bar end mirrors in matt black with blue tinted glass, very cool. My Rizoma levers are also matt black and are hinged so if (god forbid) you put the bike down the levers fold up rather than snapping off. They aren't the cheapest you can buy but they are pretty decent quality.

I would recommend bar end mirrors. You get a much better view behind you and they look cool in the process. You can pick some up pretty cheap on Ebay. There is no need to get the snazzy ones if your on a budget. Lots of options in levers as well. If you know the size of the hole in them you might get some second hand. Check out the "Parts for sale thread" on here. Levers will be pretty cheap to import from the US.

I'm not a big fan of Rizoma mirrors. I don't think they have a nice shape. My personal preference is CRG Arrow mirrors and Oberon bar end indicators. The CRG's are hinged and you can get replacement parts as well as being extremely good for rear vision.

CRG for mirrors and levers, the roll-a-clicks feel great and are seriously well made, the arrow mirrors are nice but i prefer my bar end mirrors to fold in so the 3" lane splitter is what i use, again excellent quality.

I've always admired the fit and quality of the rizoma stuff but it's just too pricey, i'm no tightwad when it comes to spending my cash on my bikes but i haven't been able to bring myself to cough up for it

I have these DP mirrors and think they work really well.

Gets rid of the indicators from around the headlight, now they are LED and integrated into the mirrors.

I'm not a big fan of the bar end mirrors as the monster handlebars seem pretty wide as the are.

I bought some levers off ebay and the fit and finish is great.
