So I need any ladies out there to help me out. I am having a ridiculously hard time finding a nice riding jacket that fits me without making me look like I'm twice my age. The problem I am running into is I have yet to find a nice jacket that I can zip up because... well lets just say I've got hips. I'm 26 and want to look like a 26 year old rider. I have no interest in those touring jackets. I have had my eye on a few Alpinestars but can't get them because they are to small in the hip area. I have tried mens jackets but those tend to be tight in the chest and I don't want to get a super large size so I can finally fit the chest and hip area but huge everywhere else. Does anybody have any other brand names that I can check out?

I was going to suggest revit also. My GF has large hips and found that the revit gear was very well made and not too expensive. She has an airwave jacket and pants, textile for the summer when she does most of her riding.

my gf also rides revit. they are probably the best for girls who want to look like girls when riding.
most non touring jackets wont really go past your hips though. thats sort of where they end.

if you go with the touring jacket, theyll go past your hips most of the time.

lady here  ;D  like you, i'm about both form & function in my gear. with that said, i would also highly recommend rev'it!  i've got several of their jackets, the Siren being one of them, and it's held up in various weather conditions, keeping me comfortable & not so much looking like a storm trooper.  you mentioned your hips & i noticed with the rev'its, they are definitely cut to allow for hippage.  i also love dainese, but their stuff seems to be of a slimmer cut. in any case, check out both brands as they have awesome ladies' wear & the newer stuff seems to be getting better & better.  i hope you'll find something you like.  [thumbsup]

I've had a scorpion jacket, it wasn't too bad, definitely fit more snug. I have a Dainese Ducati jacket. I really like my Fulmer jacket and it was a great price too!

I have my eye on the Rev'it Camden jacket. I don't know their sizing or quality, haven't tried one on.

But look on Fulmer's site. This is the one I Have:

It has hip room!

If you can swing the bucks Langlitz will make you a jacket that fits you exactly how you want.

Thank you everyone for the help in my search for a jacket. I actually found a Joe Rocket that fits amazingly! Now I just have to wait for my boots to get in and the snow to melt!!!

I saw one of these at Euro Moto and tried it and the men's edition on.  It was a good jacket if you ride to work and your office is fussy about your gear, but the men's version has better quality materials and zippers.  I'm a tall size 8 and it was too narrow in the shoulders and too short in the sleeves for me.

I'd say look at anything on motorcyclegear.com that your local shops don't carry.  They have a generous restocking policy.  Sizing in gear is all over the place and so much of the women's stuff only fit those with no curves whatsoever and short arms and legs.

touratech-usa.com also has a lot of really nice European branded stuff with neat safety features such as rib protectors that aren't normally found in the usual gear.

DAINESE Jessy Lady Jacket

My daughter wants this jacket and she doesn't even ride and is only 13....the goatskin leather is soft and has a great texture to it.
