You know, I'm curious about airbox chops. I was going to do one on my bike when I got it back after it's 20 000km service.

But when I checked, the new airbox lid was already fully ventilated with a pretty damn big inlet: the filter is actually attached to the lid.  [thumbsup]

Chopping your air box will give you minimum results in terms of performance if your Monster is smaller than 900cc.  If your doing it just for fun thats fine,  but don't fool yourself into thinking its going to make anything more than a marginal difference in terms of performance.

yeah right, by itself no difference, but with pcIII and pipes, and high flow filter, will make a difference.
