How often you change oil?

Yeah, I adapt measures to American way and I did it wrong, In EU it is 12k km service period.

So you people say oil breaks down just for nothing during winter season.

Some time earlier in my life I would change oil in 3k miles, clean it, make customizations to bike and etc. But now i realize that all efforts does not pay for itself in real life. So now it is not a question of another 100$ for oil change, it is about to do what exactly needed for bike and when. And if oil turned black from red and it does not hurts engine - I am ok with that.
