Hey fellas,

Been riding around on my newly purchased '07 695, boy its going take a while to get this smile off my face!!  It has only done 5300km however has been sitting around for a long time so I had the equivalent of a 20K km's service done (just to make sure it had a full checkover etc). I have noticed the lower end chugging (<3000RPM) which a few people have mentioned.

I have checked and the sprocket and it has been changed from a 15 to a 14 (happy about this, as I was going to do it myself).

The place I had it done at in Brisbane (Ducati Brisbane) said that his machine was out of Aust getting repaired atm, but when it came back in a week or two he could do an ECU remap to the bike for me (I assume this would include removing the o2 sensor plug?)  Or would a new ECU be a better step?

Any information regarding what would be the best course of action here would be great, thanks in advance guys! Smiley

I sent my ECU to Brad. It came back looking exactly the same, except for a little sticker. Really transformed my 695 tho...

Ducati dealerships in Brisbane aint much chop. Try and find a reliable mechanic who will look after you and your bike. Speedys at Sumner Park know their stuff. http://www.speedysmotorcycles.com.au/

Or use Suzys option and send your ecu to Brad Black in Melbourne. http://www.bikeboy.org/

Okay, thanks for the help guys. I'll try taking it to Speedys at Summer park first, to see what they have to say.  If I still have issues, then maybe Brad's the guy for the job.

speedys will sort you out just fine. Tim talks a fair bit of crap but they both know how to use their dyno. i've had good results consistently on my bikes.
