Comon we all have good fast powerfull bikes.
How can you keep speed limits? most of roads have 45MPH limit.
You can't avoid ticets for speed. Nor escape, it is USA.

Here is 2-3 world countries people ride twice as limit if roads are ok and can even escape or pay cops some 20-50$ and get away with it.

We are a nation of Rebels.  Breaking the law, Breaking the law!  Sometimes we talk police out of huge tickets, sometimes we just pay them.  Many of us have learned where to play and not likely get caught, other run when they see the lights.

So yup big fun to ride in The States.

Speed limits on limited access highways in the US usually range from 55 MPH up to 75 MPH, 80 in parts of Texas waytogo depending on state and population density and usually there  a grace of at least 5 MPH before a ticket is issued.

I checked that link and I'm green with envy!
It's a max of 60 on all our HWYs/FWYs except for one multi lane interstate FWY that is 65 (and littered with speed cameras).
Track days are important here.

I bet the forest/mountain roads up your way are fun at 65/70.

They are.

Too bad the posted limit on most is 40.

I have to be honest...even up here where there isn't a lot of traffic density...street riding has lost a bunch of its allure. People just don't pay attention.

I learned (the hard way) a coupla years ago in colorado that speeding tickets in state parks carry no points and they don't report to insurance. Just pay the big fine and go on your way.

Big part of the reason I've stopped riding on the streets altogether.

Also, being on the track has completely ruined me. L
The streets are terrifying places full of texting drivers and hard things to run into when you have an ooops

+1 the track is where you want to go if you want to test your limit, not the street.

I still ride the street occasionally but most of my time is spent at the track these days.
Big shout out to Harris Hill Raceway for providing such a great place to play.

I can still have fun without getting my knee down or riding at "go directly to jail" speeds.

 Cool
