Petty I know, but it sounds much better. And now you can smugly correct someone. :)

Yeah I kinda feel the same way. No offense to German engineering or anything but I had no idea VW was so monstrously huge...sucks when everything on earth is owned by a handful of mega corps and the Italian bikes we love aren't even really Italian.

[laugh] That shit's almost true. One day WalMart will own everything and there will be "Great Value" brand motorcycles  [puke]

Can't tell ya how happy I am to have accidentally bought a 2013 Evo 1100.  It is the only year of that bike and the last of a great brand.

Here is a fun thought, there is no way in hell I would own a Ferrari or a Lamborghini.  Both are simply not well suited for real world driving and both are out of their element anywhere but a racetrack or showing off at some party somewhere.  VW?  They make nice enough cars but the better models are IMO overpriced as hell for something with a VW badge.  I would drive an Audi as they make some really nice drivable road cars.

Luckily I do not have to commute to work anywhere other than to my launch site and that being a whopping five miles from home I have no problem driving my ram 2500 when I need it.  When I want to do a road trip I rent cars.  Then I can thrash the crap out of them, wear out the tires and still get better mileage than my truck.

Oh and so much for Ducati being the Ferrari of Motorcycles.......  Bummer as "The Lamborghini of motorcycles" is simply complicated sounding.

Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.
Feel free to PM me if needed, otherwise you will find me elsewhere.

How many Ferraris have you driven?
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

I have only driven one.  That being said it would be a Sunday track toy, not something I would drive around town.  Unless of course I was single and unattractive then I would need one badly.

You do know the old joke about Corvettes?  You only see two kinds of people driving Corvettes, hot blondes and ugly men.   [cheeky]
