Besides being lazy one of them just sprayed off pepper spray in the office said he thought it was a flashlight.

What a jerkwad.  How do you mistake pepperspray for a flashlight?  Doesn't the spray usually come in some sort of case so it doesn't accidentally go off?  Watch, he'll get to go home early because the spray made him sick.  grrrrrrrr.  People annoy me.

umm.. ouch. anyone else get hit? If you were within 15 feet you could claim that you were hit and take the rest of the day off. Worked right, I'm sure they'd pay you for the full day.
