02' M750I.E. Dark - (pearl white)

« on: July 09, 2008, 04:09:26 PM »

I trying to figure out what to do to my bike next. This is how this bike is at the moment:

So far I have :

Removed all Stickers and Reflectors
Painted Bike Pearl White
Chopped Tail
Installed integrated Tail Light
Apex Clipons
Stock Top Triple modified (risers ground and painted black)
Exhaust chopped 7 inches
Clear Turnsignals up front
Removed Side Panels
14t sprocket installed
Bar End Mirrors
Sliders
Wheel Stripes
Cutomized Belt Covers
Crankcase Breather Filter
Pods Installed and Quickly Removed Angry
Voltage Regulator relocated and flipped

There is probably more stuff but I can't remember everything I done and redone.

I can't get new exhaust at the moment so other ideas besides that are appreciated.

Thanks

The white looks great.  I really like the way that come out.  I think you are right in that an exhaust would be the next logical step.  But if you can't get a set right now just ride it as is.  You have put a lot of work in, take a breather and keep it as is for a while.  But if you are still looking for something to do, I would pull the fly screen.  I'm not a fan of them personally, but that may be just me.  .02

Seriously, I think a matching white belly pan would look good.

It would make it lower and meaner IMO

Just wondering, why did you take your pods back off?  I'm considering the TPO kit for my bike.  But back to the thread, I say paint the head light bezel to match the bucket, smoothes it out IMO.

That yellow spring has got to go.

Red maybe?

And the forks? Match the spring?

you're a frickin genius, first thing was powdercoat the spring red !

only if you're happy with the suspension though...otherwise that is mod no. 1 - take it to a suspension guru and have it all re-done and have the spring powdercoated whilst they are doing that.

with your choice of exhaust - ceramic coat the headers.

maybe - shave down the hugger? you like doing stuff yourself!

great bike!

Paint rearsets and/or cans black?
Black belly pan?

Or be happy with it the way it is - because it IS good looking waytogo

I think a full bellypan in white with the bottom half in flat black (848ish) would go good with the peg hangers and the cans in flat black. I did that with mine and it made them blend in and not stick out like crazy.

That bike is a beauty anyways, but the cans need to go black.
