Hey gang, it's been a while. Had a baby and getting married so my miles have been cut back pretty substantially these days.

This weekend however a buddy and I are sneaking out and heading down the Blue Ridge Parkway from Virginia to Asheville, NC, then over to Raleigh to visit some friends. I wanted to build something that made using a bungee net a little more convenient on the Monster so I headed into the shop and fired up the CNC router. After a few prototypes I think I've perfected a small rack for the Monster, or anything else you want to attach it to.

Now that I'm happy with the finished product I've put them up available for sale on my Etsy store, ArtfulMachined.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/186529786/backboard-universal-pillion-luggage-rack?

I'm selling the raw ones for 39.95 and will be putting up a painted version for $49.95 once I perfect the finishing process. I welcome any thoughts and feedback (and orders Wink) since this was essentially designed for a Monster without being designed for only a Monster.

I think it's pretty cool.

But not "handmade" Wink

Lol but I clicked the mouse all by myself! Etsy doesn't have a CNC option.

What's the stability like? Any wind wiggle?

I could see it being a good mount for a milk crate to throw shit in.

I used cam style lashing straps and it's way more stable that way. It's VERY solid.

Two of my best friends live down there and we got into town late so we just had a party at their house. My buddy's wife is a killer cook so we ate like kings. We usually hit Danny's BBQ when we're down there otherwise.

Next time, have them take you to Allen & Son BBQ on 15-501 just north of Pittsboro.

Very nice.  have had bungee cord get loose and get caught n wrap around in the swing arm.  Anything to make that not occur or make it safe is good thing.
