Go to the Whip In for beer needs if you can. They have an absolutely stunning selection.

If your not familiar.

Alright, so right now I am down for the following.

Turkey Fryer, Basket, Burner, Propane tank, CO2 tank, 1 Cooler, Kegs and Taps. Oh yeah, an extra air mattress.
Am I missing anything?

Oh yeah, my bike. Man I hope I'll have room for that... Undecided
I think I'm going to have to wear my gear.

Wonder what the  Police would say if I drove by geared up with a full face helmet? laughingdp

Just a quick reality check, folks... Are we over-doing this? I don't want to place a huge burden on 1 or 2 people. This is 'sposed to be fun, not a part time job Tongue
Not making any judgements, I'm just throwing out the though for consideration.

yeah, i'm all for grabbing some food and beer en route to the cabin... i mean, whatever people are happy to bring is cool, but nobody should at all feel like they "need" to bring stuff otherwise we won't have a good time.  with that said, though, i'm totally blown away by the number of people putting as much $$ and time into this as they are; it's really awesome.  i don't think me picking up some groceries at whole foods is really going to come close to what some are putting into this...so please don't turn people down when they try to put some cash in your hat.  i mean, it's all good and all...but i want to kick in for what people are doing (read: i plan on drinking lots of beer!!)    waytogo

I do have truck and towing capability but now it looks like I won't be leaving til Friday evening. At this point don't hold cabin space for me, I'll just plan on camping.

What hiero said.

This is all just for fun. I like beer, I like brewing. I like sharing that passion. I am having a blast and were still over a week away. Grin
So don't worry, besides I will be bringing a tip jar. Wink

I was just jesting about having to much to haul. Along the lines of someone who asked if we had a kitchen sink.
Bringing the stuff for the fish fry doesn't put me out at all. I already have the gear. And we can use it for whatever if we need/want.
Huge pot of chili (NO BEANS  laughingdp ), a couple turkeys. Whatever. If hiero wants to do fish I am backing that up 100%. The man can cook.

Besides, this is for a long weekend, so it doesn't hurt to be a little over prepared.

"Especially" with Texas weather.
If things went south for the day weather wise I'd much rather have a cabin full of beer and food to be stuck in.

So which of you slackers is going to prep the potatoes? cheeky

er...   yeah, MurDuc, no one was letting you off the hook on the homebrew, man, all that was directed at others.  you must still bring lots of beer, it is an obligation, your bike is optional, and if you have to drive with your helmet on to get everything in the truck, well than you will just be all that much safer when you arrive!

Oh yeah, there is WiFi out there, but you have to pay a small fee to use it per computer.  I'm not so sure I'll bring my laptop out again, but the WiFi is there if you need it.

Someone better bring a computer so we can post up... otherwise with most of the DFW crew "offline" for that long, we may fall behind in the overall forum rankings!   cheeky
