About a month ago, I posted in the AZDRA local board for some one to do a vehicle check for me. I was looking at a car and wanted someone to check it out before I flew out to look at it myself. I knew the DMF would be the place. Brad 'triangleforge' volunteered. We talked for a bit and he worked out a visit with the seller. Short story long, everything worked out. I writing this from the airport on my return trip from buying the car. I am the proud new owner of a '57 Chevy Bel Air Sport Coupe, one of my dream cars. I knew I could count on the DMF for helping and wanted to give Brad a big public thank you for help me.

Oh yeah, no thread is complete with out pics.

Wow, she is very sexy and I don't usually dig on cars older than the mid 60's. ;D

Did you name her yet?

Nope. I won't have possession until the being of next month. I'll have to get to know her before I can name her. It's 400ci small block, so she's can get moving. However, she's still got the stock drums. Once moving, she doesn't stop well.

Not like anyone has to twist my arm to go take a look at a cool old car -- was a whole lot of fun!

She's even nicer in person --  Sounds pretty burly when the motor clears its throat.

Congrats, Ken, and it was great to meet you! Did you take the interstate back to Phoenix or did you flog that rental car through the twisties south of town?

I whimped out and took the slab. I was soooo tired. I needed the easy route. I was tempting, but I was fighting sleep too much.

It was great to meet you too. I really appreciate all the help.
