I got it off ebay probably a year or two ago. Never got around to putting it on my truck so she swiped it!

Technically that's a newer monster on the sticker and not a 620

I am really happy with the way the rit dyed covers came out. Had to do a 24 hour soak to get them to my liking.

Excellent! I have a lot to do in the mean time. One update...Tail is chopped!
My wife is already getting excited too. She just put this on her Volkswagen Beetle. This is gonna be quite a change from the cruisers she is used to but I am excited for her!
I always imagine Monsters take a huge sigh of relief after all that crap gets cut off. AAAaaaahhhhh.

I got home from a business trip today and found all kinds of goodies waiting for me!
My buddy from back East sent me all kinds of freebies from his 620 (you rock Steve!). In the box were cans, shields, bars, mirrors, and levers all in great shape
...and some more goodies from Jeff:
Throttle assembly from ebay:
and a new OEM front axle from my local dealer:
Last weekend I had sanded out all the road rash on the front rim and repainted. It's now at the shop getting a new Pilot Power 3 mounted.
Since I am a week or two out on the forks, I think I am gonna chop, core, and paint the cans. I'll post up the progress.

What did the axle set you back? That's the main reason I tore my bike down, for the axles...eBay scrappers were gougin' and $hit. Tired of that mob of Imperial Sport bikes and their buddies Gotham Cycles and Rubbersideup.
The "Parts and Supplies" guy I hate the most. He has the filthiest parts and all priced higher than brand new OEM. I sent him hate mail for selling scabby caliper pinch bolts for $60 and he blocked me, lol.

Lol! Yea I hear ya on the used parts. The new front was $83. A bit steep but not a part I wanted to gamble with on ebay.

That's not bad at all. I think mine was priced well over $100 but I need to check other years as they have different numbers/different prices for what is the same part.

Spent yesterday coring and chopping 4 inches off the replacement cans. I plan on spraying them satin black tomorrow.
End caps off
in the chop saw
Riveted back up. Shown next to stock can.
