And btw, feel free to get your own IMA clipons...i was being tongue in cheek when I jokingly told you not to. But keep in mind they will interfere with your U bracket.

Ha thanks, I thought as much!

The headlight I have is bottom mounted from the two bolt holes where the u bracket fixes to the bottom triple so I've done away with the u bracket all together. I'm still undecided about triple clamps as I was looking at taking forks from a 999 which are larger diameter. But now the matris is an option thing might change!

Thanks for the info, I'll let you know what happens

In the mean time..... More pics!  popcorn

Dafuq?

My new alloy swingarm end caps are a completely diff shade of gold. It doesn't look right. Is this common? Anyone ever seen this? Inconceivable and unacceptable.

I've seen a 94 and 95 with the same. Don't know why.

This picture doesn't even illustrate the difference properly. They are WAY different. One on right looks good and the left one sucks. The anodizing on that one is also all blotchy and blown out like an amateur tattoo.

One of mine is more blotchy. They are different parts for sure, L and R. It's annoying. The more faded one got blotchy on mine.

Don't forget carb rubbers! Those are done. Mine gave up the ghost at 26k/14 years old & cost $40 each new to replace.

I take back my; "pictures of what looks like a...soon" comment. It's stupid cold in OH, I attempted to dick with the bike in my unheated garage and lasted all of 20 minutes. I'm going back to work.

AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hey, did you know you have a Ducati?

:-)

I've had bikes with different shades of red on different fairing panels.  Not by much, but enough to notice.

All on the mid 90s bikes.  My 600ss had slightly different reds on the two side panels.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
