Howdee!

Scott here from in this order: New Jersey->Japan->Richmond, VA <- current locale
Been riding bikes since I was 15, which would be 1985. Which means I now feel.....seasoned?

My current love affair is a 2013 M1100 Evo 20th Anniversary, and I love it and it loves me back. Daily. Multistrada purchase on deck next, so I can give wife the proper tour of the States (she's Japanese and needs to see and smell the US, even my hometown of Camden, NJ!). Past bikes have included 999, 749, 748, 916, and a slew of other bikes. Something happened when I turned 43 - Monsters all of a sudden were arousing to me. My past flings with Ducati have all been superbikes, but now I just look like a fat potato wrapped in bubblewrap and shoved into a jacket while on a sportbike. Several severe accidents have made prolonged sportbike riding very painful (worst was was being hit while at a stoplight on a Vulcan 1500 when a woman hit me from behind traveling 45 mph - broken back, collapsed lung, tons of bones broken but demented sense of humor organ still intact!). I joined this forum "'cuz duh!" and look forward to learning more about Monsters and joining in the conversation.

Welcome - come check out
www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?board=20.0
- It's the somewhat regional section. Most folks, like me, are around DC. But there's a few Richmonders, richmodites, richpeople?

Kirigakure! Glad you showed up as I couldn't figure out who you were.

Speak to Rusty on Sunday who was also hit from behind BIGTIME a couple of years ago by a texting #&%@ing female.

Why would ANYONE want a tour of Camden???!!!  Grin New Hope, Lambertville, Frenchtown and Milford I could understand.  waytogo

Hey man! South Jersey > New York's parking lot! (And true, Camden wasn't much better back in the 70's and 80's either. Still top ten murder capital back then, I mean that's a given.

See you on Sunday for the vintage show!
