2007 S2R 1000

Hello everyone!

Been riding for a number of years but never owned a Ducati. Thankfully that just changed. Just picked up a mint 2007 S2R 1000 that is bone stock with only 2000 miles on it!

Welcome John.
This is a great community. It's quite the international forum too.
Check out all the sections for info you may need.
Cheers  chug

Roll Eyes Sorry, logged on for the first time at 6 AM, still a bit sleepy. My name is John and I live in Connecticut, Northeast US. I am aware of the plastic tank issues, unfortunately all they sell in my area is E-10, can't afford to use race gas even if it were available close by. My bike does have minor tank swell, the left (clutch) side tank rubber is a little misaligned with the frame rail.

Ye Ha! Just got the reg and insurance sorted out and rode her home today! Took the long way home Roll Eyes. Found out the cam belts were replaced last summer, replaced the brake and clutch fluids, oil, oil filter, battery, and original 7 year old Bridgestones with a new set of Michelin Power 3's. I would post a pic but I have not figured out how to do that yet.

It's a sublime riding experience for sure. There are no bikes like it. Enjoy. waytogo
