Showa Spare Parts

Hey all, recently I was trying to adjust my Showa's rebound setting. While trying to turn the screw the head twisted off of the screw. The threaded portion is still inside the fork where it was before I started messing with it... 

So, does anyone know if it's possible to get replacement parts for the old Showas?

I have quite a few spares, but not sure how old you need.  What year/model showa?  43mm, but the rebound screw is on the base threaded through the caliper mount.  I have a set of caliper mounts from an 848 that are for 43mm showas complete if you like.  The rebound screws are not universal though so measurements would be needed.  You would be better off just swapping the caliper mounts and upgrading to radial brakes.  Let me know.

Mine are off my 98 M900. I'm not sure if those are the 43mm legs or not. If the caliper mounts are swappable to those 848 ones, and I can run the radial brakes without changing my wheel/rotor setup that would be nice.

Actually, looking at the prices of calipers on ebay, I think I'd rather just replace the screw and then sometime down the line upgrade my entire front end to a GSXR setup.

I understand, make sure you weren't just looking at monoblocs for $500 plus.  Stock M1100 calipers will run about 200 total with master.  I have a full M1100 Showa (Not marzocchi sp?) setup with 848 caliper mounts if you want.  I will probably throw it all away since I am tired of storing/hoarding stuff in my garage.  I put an 848 front end on my monster but used 1098 DLC sliders and my monster caliper mounts (shaved and powdercoated) so I could customize it more and keep my rotor offset.  You are more than welcome to the extra parts.  Let me know if you want to just try the rebound screws.  They are too large for the monster caliper mounts and not sure of interchangeability.

Nope, it screws into the foot or caliper bracket.

if it is at the bottom it's a compression adjuster.

it's not shown as a separate part by ducati.  it appears the early 90s gsxr forks have the same valve, try a suzuki parts list.

Not knowing exactly what's broken and what it looks like; but if nothing is actually and visibly broken, and the ajuster just turns without stopping in or out, mybe the ajuster needle "drive blade" has just un-engaged in the screw "drive slot"? If so, maybe nothing's actually broken...?
